Name:
Jaula Gender: Male Species: Keeper Personality: Jaula is quiet, calm, and observes his surroundings. Gentle and silent, he sticks to himself in the Earth world, usually staying around the forests with the other various creatures that live there. Though, just because of his gentle nature, doesn't mean he won't stand for a fight. Jaula is a firm protector of his orb, and has fought off many to secure his orbs safety. The one thing about Jaula, he doesn't trust easily. He has trusted humans a few times, and all of them at some point tried to touch the orb. So now, he is more guarded then ever, and does not seek out to find people to keep him company. The forest and the land is now his company. When Jaula first entered the human world, he was curious about everything. Everywhere he went he had a questioned that he wanted answered, and things to be explained. This world was so different, and so vast, he was overwhelmed. He was very open to people, asked questions, and trusted easily. Most of them were really helpful, and others wanted to expose him to the world. So after while, he tried to become more self sufficient, and stayed out of trouble. But, everything changed when he got his orb. A lot of things changed that he didn't want to be changed. After Jaula got his orb, the people he looked for to help then tried to take his orb. That's all they wanted. Jaula was hurt, since he thought most people were trust-able and kind, though he guessed he was proven wrong. After being back-stabbed and almost had his orb taken away, his whole personality changed. He was quiet, stayed away from humans, and lived alone out in the forest. To him, humans were not trust-able at that point, and he was better off with the other animals. The animals didn't care about the orb, which then comforted Jaula. Other: Jaula is blind, though he sees a different way. |
Species Information - The Keepers
appearance;
They most resemble a fox, though some may also say they resemble a wolf as well. But they are much larger then these two creatures, for they are the size of a small horse/pony. Though, for their size, they are very stealthy, and are rarely seen.
Their body is long and slim, their legs and tails also longer then the average fox/wolf. The neck of a Keeper is a few inches longer as well. Down the length of their neck, they have a horse mane, either being long or medium length. Forlocks are also on this creature, and are usually hanging down the side of their face. The size of the feet determine the gender, a large paw means male, small means female. Wings are also adorned on these creatures, and their wings are large. Wing span can be as long, or longer then their body.
For the colors, they stick with natural colors for the base, then light colors for the markings. Or it can be the other way around. Light colors for the base, and natural darker colors for the markings. Some markings may resemble animals on our earth, but most of them are random since they do not follow any sort of code for markings within their species. Some Keepers may be simple in design, and others may be very unnatural/wierd. Some may say that the design of the Keepers itself may be determined by the human's personality they carry the orb for, but it hasn't been proven.
There are not many mutations, and none of them are drastic. They all have wings, that cannot change. If one was born without wings, they would be doomed and wouldn't enter our realm. Hair lengths, and tail lengths can be different though.
personality;
Quiet, calm, and observant. Rarely speaks, only in whispers. Some Keepers cannot see, so they mostly relies on sounds and senses. They do not try to come in contact with humans, only humans try to find them. The only time they will show anger, or disturbance, is when a human finds out about their orbs secrets. No one knows much about their personality, since they do not come in contact often with anyone.
When coming in contact with a human, they are very silent and watch you. If you don't keep you eyes on them, you'll easily lose them cause they can slip away from you easily. If you are loud near the Keepers, they will fled from you. Keeping calm and quiet as them is the best way to avoid conflict.
about the keepers;
Keepers are the holders of secrets, the holders of the future. Orbs are the holders of the secrets that are carried around in a cage by a Keeper, and are usually described as a glowing ball of light. In their orbs, they hold hundreds of secrets about the earth, people, disasters, and the universe. They hold the secrets of the future, but there is a catch; The orb only holds one persons future and purpose, not multiple things about the future.
The only way for the Keepers to gain their orb, is if they find the human who future is theirs to hold, after that, the Keeper must hide from the human. No human shall know their future, or the secrets of the world. It may cause chaos among the earth world.
If their human finds their Keeper, then the Keeper will be removed from this earth from failing its job. The orb is meant to stay away from the human, the Keepers are their to protect them from it. If you may somehow find a Keeper, it doesn't mean its the one that hold your future. There is only one Keeper out there that holds what you desire to know. To know the secrets, you must touch the orb, then suffer the consequences that may come if its not your Keeper. Many people have touched the orb that wasn't their own, and most of them went insane from the information they received. Some go crazy knowing that the Keeper is looking for them, demanding to take them back to their realm. And some, lose interest in life since they know all.
If you touch the orb of a Keeper who is not your destined one, you will gain all knowledge, but that Keeper will hunt you down for the rest of its life. The orb will disappear once the person touches it, and the persons rightful orb will be lost.
Some myths say that if you catch a glimpse of a Keeper, something terrible will happen. It may be to you, family, community, or a city. Who knows if its true, but its safe not to test to see if the theory is right.
homeland & more info;
The Keepers are not from this earth, but more linked with it. They are from another realm, where their purpose and destiny has not been determined. For a Keeper to be 'born' as they say, then their human has to be born. Once the human is born, they take the journey to earth, and find their rightful human. They can spends years to find their human, some may never find them. The ones that find their human, they spend the rest of their days holding their orbs, and staying away from their owner. They can live in peace on this earth, as long as the orb isn't found. When their human dies, they will return back to the realm, and either choose to be 'reborn' or cease of existence. If the Keeper never finds their human, then they are returned back to the realm where they are not allowed to leave.
These creature's have two names; Keeper and Seeker. A Keeper has his/her orb, and a Seeker is looking for an orb.
If a Keeper never finds their human, and is returned back to the realm, they can escape back to earth. They will never have their own orb, but they can steal one from another Keeper. If the Keeper manages to steal the orb, they will stay away from humans, fearing that if a human finds the orb and they are sent back to their realm, their existence will be gone. The stealing Keeper can live out its days in peace among the human world. Though the Keeper that had their orb stolen, will never cease to try to find the stealing Keeper, for its their duty to protect that orb. If the rightful Keeper never finds the orb, they will be sent back to their realm and cease of existence.
A Keeper existence can be terminated if they steal, lose their orb, or foolishly/purposely let their orb be touched. When they are terminated, it likes they never existed.
